Type faster with Type Racer!

typerace.jpg

Typeracer simply is a typing game where your goal is to drive your car into the finish line by typing the given paragraph as fast as you can. The main purpose of this game is to improve your typing speed and have fun during the process. Typeracer also encourages a sport called "Competitive Typing"

race3.png

SOUNDS EASY YOU SAY? well I tried it myself and I got 39 Words Per Minute, just about average for a normal web surfer I suppose. Your score depends mainly on your speed (WPM) but it also shows you how accurate you are on your typing skills compared to other "racers".

race2.png

Just like any athletic pursuit, typing is a skill that honors speed and accuracy, and just like physical fitness, it gets better with practice! And any human ability that fits this description absolutely demands competition! With TypeRacer you do just that - improve your typing while competing with others. - Typeracer blog

So try out Typeracer now! and see how fast your fingers are! To give you (de)motivation, I'll show to you how good (no. awesome!.. no. super awesome!) the top 20 are.

Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver: Gold and Silver gets a Makeover!

200px-Pokemon_HeartGold_Version_box.jpg

From the success of the Pokemon Gold and Silver Franchise for the Gameboy, the company gave it a makeover and stuffed it up with more awesome features that GB players will surely have a different feeling when playing this version. My prediction was right! I've always thought that this version will have its remake (considering that the previous versions had theirs as well).

Heartgold/Soulsilver retells the story of Johto and starts up in an area being New Bark Town, the overall plot follows the same direction as the original Gold and Silver.

200px-Pokemon_SoulSilver_Version_box.jpg

Like FireRed and LeafGreen could link up with Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald to complete the Pokédex by trading regionally exclusive Pokémon, HeartGold and SoulSilver can link up with Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum to obtain Pokémon unavailable in Johto and Kanto, such as the Sinnoh starters.

HeartGoldTitle.png SoulSilverTitle.png

Like the GBA Wireless Adapter that came with FireRed and LeafGreen, a bonus is included with the purchase of HeartGold and SoulSilver: a Poké Ball-shaped pedometer called the Pokéwalker that has the capacity to link to the two games and hold a Pokémon. Storing a Pokémon in this manner increases its experience and happiness as the wearer walks. Other Pokémon can be captured in exclusive Pokéwalker-only areas and then transferred to the main game.

607px-Pokewalker.png

There are so many changes from Gold and Silver (which can be found here) so I'll just put the good ones:

  • Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Silver, and Red have animated battle sprites and battle intros, as in Platinum. Many Gyms have been redesigned as well, some with new puzzles.

  • Ambient sound effects are used with greater frequency than in previous games; for example, running water, blowing wind and the player walking through grass will produce audible noises.

  • All 493 Pokémon are capable of following players similar to Pikachu in Yellow. Shininess is also retained. The player can interact with their Pokémon by pressing 'A', and can see how their Pokémon is feeling at the moment. In battle, like Yellow's Pikachu, they are sent out from the side of the screen, rather than from a Poké Ball, unless in certain situations, such as while riding the bicycle, surfing, or going indoors with a large Pokémon.

  • A new sidequest, the Pokéathlon, features ten mini-games that pit Pokémon in athletic competitions. Its system appears to be analogous to that of Contests from previous games.

    800px-HGSS_JohtoKanto.jpg

And of course you maybe asking if there's now a ROM of these games. The answer would be a yes! but I wouldn't post it in here. But you could inform me if you want to have a Working English ROM for HeartGold.

Leave some Comment Love people!! Thanks!

Left 4 Dead 2 – Can you survive this?

image

No, you’re not looking at it wrong! The top-selling game of 2008 that rocked every Xbox 360s and PCs dead (or undead XD) has a sequel and I think this game is going to be better than its predecessor. With lots of features in store and new introduction to weapons.

I’m a big fan of zombies. And I’ve always wondered what would happen if a zombie invasion will start! That would be great right! (yeah, I don’t think so too. xD)

Moving on to L4D2.

Here’s the trailer of the game.

L4D2 Trailer

The sequel now introduces melee weapons in various and unusual kinds, hello Chainsaw!!. Have you tried smashing a zombie back to death with a frying pan? now you can!!

image

The game features new Survivors (what happened to Zoey, Bill, Francis and Louis?), new boss zombies, items and deeper cooperative game-play. Valve says the game is much larger than the Original L4D with more maps for survival mode, and Versus Campaigns.

image

The Release date is set for November 17, 2009 as an Xbox 360 and PC “exclusive”, Can’t wait!

I think the sequel is early for the game, and too early to change the survivors! I’m gonna miss the first survivors of the game. The names of the L4D2 survivors is still to come.

image

I guess they’re not going make new maps for the L4D1 because of the sequel, but no worries I expect to have better game-play and graphics than the original, well with that expectation I’m also going to expect higher System Requirements than L4D1 making it playable only for the rich ones. :) And if you’re thinking that I’m rich, I’ll tell you this I can’t even play the first L4D. hahaha

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT Left4Dead2? TELL US IN COMMENTS!

10 Flash Games You Might Enjoy

http://soft.3walim.com/store/products/Adobe-Flash-Player-1001218-Beta-90124084491.jpg
Got nothing to do on the internet world today? Yeah, sometimes it's really boring if you do the same stuffs over and over again right? why not play a game or two to exercise your smart brain of yours and at the same time still hae some fun or why not reminisce and relive the old times by enjoying the good old games you spent on hours with just to get to the final stage and realize that you wasted 1 whole week of your life? Well I'm here to give you 10 Flash games that you will surely enjoy and you will keep coming back for more!

1. Dice Wars!
by Game DesignAs the name implies Dice Wars is a strategy game that takes skill and luck at the same time, it's a great game as you take on other enemy dice territories and expand your freakin dice nation! A really addictive game that you will enjoy for hours!

2. Domino Pressure
by Game Design
You click a Domino to knock over all the rest of the other dominoes and hit toe tomato. There should be no Domino left untoppled or else you lose your precious time, yup there's a 20 sec. time limit for every level (minus the number of dominoes that stood up). Despite the gameplay I think it's worth playing. check it out.

3.Crossword

by Game Design

Yes, another Game Design Flash game. Did I mention they're good at doing this kinda stuff? Ok moving on... Crossword is not your ordinary Crossword game. Because there are no clues on what word that particular vertical or horizontal line is, you have to figure it out for yourself. I know seems hard doesn't it? well not really, because the boxes are somewhat highlighted if you click them so that you know that they are the same letter, you get the idea. If you don't get it I'm not good at explaining things. Another addictive game if you ask me!

4.School Wars
Yup, by Game DesignSchool wars is a strategy game wherein you compete with other school gangs with differentcolored uniforms and you infiltrate or destroy their base. A pretty good game (excluding the graphics, which might need an upgrade but nonetheless great) but rather quite hard (well i don't know but i haven't won a single game)

5.Chat Noir
For the last time
by Game Design

Chat Noir is a Freakin' Annoying game where you keep a black cat from escaping the area filled with big green dots. You need to click the dots to make the color darker an the cat can't cross the dot (maybe they are cat droppings) the game is taking turns, if you click a dot that cat will move a step and so on. If you want to annoy yourself play the game!

The 5 below are some of the old-school-type games but they're still worth playing. Ok to tell you in advance I got these game in NeaveGames so that I wouldn't place it below. Plus these games can be placed on your site for you and your viewers to enjoy.

6. Snake
Yup it's snake. the game that keeps you company everywhere with the use of your 'Nokia' phones is now upgraded and available to your PC

7. Space Invaders
The aliens are back! and this time you can now use your Computer to crush them on their invasion!.

8. Asteroids
The game that takes you to outer space and beyond. to crush the asteroids to rubble. Seriously what is that spaceship doing in the space filled with asteroids?

9. Tetris
Yup Tetris the popular game you enjoyed on your brick games. Do you fit perfectly? :)

10. Simon
This game will test your momory skills to the limits! now simon says blue-yellow-yellow-green-blue-green-red-red-yellow-green-red-blue-blue-red-green...

Now that's your 10 Flash Games! got any more amazing flash games to enjoy? just place it at the comments section below and I might place it here at this post. Don't Forget ot leave some comments!

How to make a stick bomb!

image

A stick bomb is a mechanical explosive device constructed out of flat sticks woven together under tension. There were also German explosive devices used in both World Wars that were known as 'stick bombs' . Other names for stick bombs include Chinese stick puzzles, and frame bombs.

Stick bombs made with craft/Popsicle sticks are capable of throwing sticks well over a meter. Also, they can detonate spontaneously due to warping or a weak stick. Therefore, it is necessary to wear safety goggles when making stick bombs, especially when using the smaller craft/Popsicle sticks. Also, it's advisable to not detonate a stick bomb close to somebody's face for the same reason.

This is a great way to have some fun (and to have revenge) using simple items, YOU SEE, SCIENCE IS FUN! What better way to spend your summer with a BANG!

I'm planning on to make one for myself! now I only have to eat 5 popsicle to do that! wew!

and I’ll make simultaneous explosion of these things.. yeah, that would be great.!

Why not make one for yourself people and lets have a bang!
