Software Freedom Day is Here!!

Mark your calendars on September 17 'coz it's Software Freedom Day!! Once again the Software Freedom International (SFI) is inviting everyone to take part in this year's SFD event. Don't know what is Software Freedom Day yet?

Software Freedom Day is an annual worldwide celebration of (yes you've guessed it) Free Software. Since it's establishment on August 28th, 2004 hundreds of teams have participated in the effort to increase the awareness of the people about free software and open source software, and to see high-quality free alternatives to your existing apps that you use at home, at work and at school.

To know more about SFD and the events go to the SFD page or ask your school about the event. My school is going to participate in the said event and I would like to join ('coz there would be a free CD compilation for the first 400 who would come, hehe).
